The purpose for this church is to glorify God through corporate worship, teaching and preaching the Word of God, fellowship and disciplining of Christians, administration of the Ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Table, and through personal and collective witnessing for the Lord Jesus Christ.

This congregation is independent in its organization and in the regulation of its affairs. Being locally autonomous, we are not subject to any other ecclesiastical body, but recognize the Lord Jesus Christ as the head of this church and His word is the final authority in all matters pertaining to this body.

THE DEPRAVITY OF MAN: We believe that man was created in innocence (in the image and likeness of God), but by voluntary transgression of God’s Law, Adam fell from his sinless and joyful state and for that reason all mankind are partakers of Adam’s fallen nature. Therefore, all are sinners by nature (inheritance) and by conduct, and are under the same condemnation, without defense or excuse, as that of Satan.

THE ATONEMENT: We believe that salvation through the unique substitution sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ as he took the sinner’s place upon the cross. It is by His grace through faith in His shed blood that provides for man’s redemption from sin and makes a way for him to be reconciled to God.

THE ASSURANCE OF SALVATION: We believe that all born again believers are regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are eternally secure in Christ Jesus. They will never again come into condemnation. The true believer shall be kept by the power of God unto salvation, and although he may sin against God and fall out of fellowship, he is eternally saved and will not be condemned.
